What's hotter than the Fourth of July?

The annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival celebrates an original Nashville culinary tradition each year on July 4. Now in its 18th year, this free, fun, and spicy event is recognized as one of the most unique food festivals in the Southeast. The festival's attendance has grown from 500 people in 2007 to over 13,000 in each of the past few years.

The fiery festivities feature the best of the best in Nashville Hot Chicken, as well as entertainment and activities for the entire family. Festivities include an amateur chicken cooking contest with contestants being judged by local celebrities and hot chicken masters.

The festival benefits the cause of hot chicken worldwide and Metro Parks & Recreation.
