The 2017 Music City Hot Chicken Festival offers an unparalleled opportunity to meet people from the community, network with peers, and have a great time. In addition to our gratitude, volunteers receive a limited edition Festival Volunteer T-shirt.

Volunteers are needed for the following shift schedule:

Monday, July 3, 2017 (Festival Set-Up)

  • Shift #1 11a-1p
  • Shift #2 1p-3p

Tuesday, July 4, 2017

  • Day of Event set-up (9:30–11:00)
    Hot Chicken samples (10:00-12:00)
    T-shirt & Souvenir Sales (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00, or 2:00-3:30*)
    Beer Ticket Sales & ID check – 21 & up ONLY (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00, or 2:00-3:30*)
    Beer Servers - 21 & up ONLY (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00, or 2:00-3:30*)
    Non-Alcoholic Beverage Sales (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00 or 2:00-3:30*)
    Trash Patrol (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00 or 2:00-3:30*)
    VIP Tent (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00, or 2:00-3:30*)
    Volunteer tent (10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:00, or 2:00-3:30*)
    Floater—will do whatever is needed at the time (11:00-1:00 & 1:00-3:00)
    Event Clean-up (2:30 – 4:30)
    *Any shift ending at 3:30 are being asked to help with clean up in their area.
